Eligibility

  • Applicants should have a minimum of one year of full-time (or equal part-time) work experience in Canada.
  • Should meet particular language requirements to prove proficiency in either English or French.
  • Plan to live outside the province of Quebec.
  • Have had legal status while working or studying in Canada.

Moreover, as per the Canadian National Occupational Classification, skilled work experience comes under three heads- Managerial Jobs (NOC Skill Level 0), Professional Jobs (NOC Skill Type A), Technical / Skilled Trades (NOC Skill Type B). For instance, if your work experience is in NOC Skill Level 0 or A, you should meet a minimum level of Canadian Language Benchmark(CLB) is 7 in all- Speaking, reading, writing and listening. And If you belong to NOC Skill Level B, you require a minimum CLB 5 in all language ability to meet the language proficiency requirement. If you do not meet the requirement, your application will get rejected.
